Family activities, Sunday School, Club 345, and Faith Friends — helping our youngest disciples grow in Jesus.

About Kids (Age 3 – 5th Grade)

At CTR, we believe children are a vital part of the church family. From the nursery to 5th grade, our team is passionate about helping kids and their families encounter Jesus through age-appropriate worship, Bible teaching, and caring relationships. From the moment your family arrives, our trained staff and volunteers make sure your children feel safe, known, and loved.

What to expect

  • Professional, caring nursery staff for infants through age 4
  • Sunday School for PreK – 5th grade beginning at 9:20 AM
  • Faith Friends midweek at CTR-U on Wednesdays
  • Club 345 events, lock-ins, and family activities throughout the year
  • Acolyte training beginning in 3rd grade

Sunday Mornings

Christ the Redeemer offers a Church Nursery and childcare from 8 AM – 12 PM during worship services and Sunday School. Care for our youngest is provided by professional, caring staff for infants through age 4. The Nursery is located in the east hallway by Fellowship East.

Sunday School schedule:
9:20 – 9:40 — Opening in Fellowship Hall West (all ages)
1st & 3rd Sundays: 9:40 Bible class
2nd & 4th Sundays: 9:40 Music · 10:00 Bible class

CTR-U Faith Friends

Kindergarten through 5th grade students gather Wednesday nights to play games, make crafts, and learn about God. CTR-U begins at 5:30 PM and ends with a family dinner at 6:30 PM.

Club 345

All CTR Kids who have completed 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade are invited to seasonal Club 345 events — lock-ins, bowling parties, and more — before 5th graders move up into the Junior High class.

Acolytes & Jr Roustabouts

Acolytes: Students can begin serving as acolytes in 3rd grade. Training days are scheduled, or arranged as requested. Youth are encouraged to continue acolyting through 8th grade.

Junior Roustabouts: A service group for children from preschool to high school and their parents, leading work and service days at CTR as needed.
