TIME IS RUNNING OUT – CHILI COOK-OFF is next Sunday at 5:00. Sign up today to enter to win the Best Chili Contest! Winter Olympic Games for the youth and BINGO for the adults will be available as well as a cake give-away. The youth band will also perform!
Best chili voting will be based on a point system: nickel: 5 pts, $1.00: 100 pts, $5.00: 500 pts, etc. Coins and $1.00 bills will be deducted from the total whereas $5, $10, etc. will be added. All monetary proceeds will go to purchase toiletry items for the veterans in our area.
KIDS WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES at the chili cook-off will be hosted by Family & Children’s Ministry. If you are interested in judging the games, please contact DCE Intern Myrthe. Games begin at 5:00 and conclude at 6:00. All children and friends are invited to attend.
THIS MONTH’S OUTREACH for South Tulsa Community House will be donations of toiletry items for the veterans in our area. Please bring your donations next Sunday during church or during the chili cook-off. Monetary donations should have parish life veterans on the memo line.
NEW OFFICE PHONES: The church office and ECC have a new phone system. Please be patient when calling these offices if you are unintentionally disconnected, are not transferred correctly or your messages are not responded to in a timely manner. There’s a definite learning curve that is in place!
THE ANNUAL CTR WOMEN’S RETREAT is March 2-4 at Camp Lutherhoma. This year’s theme is “Sip, Savor and Drink Deeply.” Cost is $75 and includes programming, activities, lodging and meals. Open to all CTR women 21 and over and their friends. Space is limited. Contact DCE Suzanne to register or for more details.
GREETERS: If you are interested in being a greeter, please contact Connie in the church office at connie.phillips@ctrtulsa.org. We could use three teams for early service and one team for late service.
DONATIONS NEEDED FOR EASTER! For this year’s Easter egg-xperience, we will need clean egg cartons, all the plastic eggs we can get, and candy! Please deliver these items to the box under the Family and Children’s Ministry bulletin board at the south entrance. If you are interested in helping stuff the eggs, see DCE Intern Myrthe.

Feb. 25 Confirmation/Bible Study & Games
OK’D IN CHRIST (9th-12th grade) March 9-11, 2018. The Oklahoma District High School Youth Gathering will be March 9-11 at the Embassy Suites in Norman, OK. Early registration is $100 and due February 4 afterwards the price goes up to $135. Friends invited to attend as well! Cost includes programming, travel, hotel, meals and a t-shirt! This year’s band is The Homesteaders and the speaker is Gabe Kaspar who has previously worked with the National Youth Gathering! To attend please complete the form and return it with a $100 non-refundable deposit.
YOUTH FORMS: All forms are now downloadable on the youth page of the CTR website. The 2018 Permission/Medical form is good for the entire year as long as your insurance and medical information does not change. This must be returned BEFORE a student attends any trip or youth event in 2018.

CLUB 345 RETREAT REGISTRATION for Club 345’s Retreat to Camp Lutherhoma will begin next Sunday. From April 6-8th, all third, fourth and fifth graders are welcome to join us for a weekend of fun and fellowship! Questions? Contact DCE Intern Myrthe at families@ctrtulsa.org.
JR ROUSTABOUTS will meet on March 4 from 12-1:30 to take part in all new service projects around the church. Lunch will be provided. If you and your child are interested in participating, please contact DCE Intern Myrthe at families @ctrtulsa.org.
SOUTH TULSA COMMUNITY HOUSE: We are in great need of just about everything “canned,” as well as other proteins such as dried beans, peanut butter, meat based soups. We also need clean and labels removed prescription bottles which we use to distribute shampoo, body wash/soap and the like. They request that you not donate any Ramon noodles.
