EASTER EGG HUNT: Family & Children’s Ministry would like donations of individual wrapped candy for the Easter Egg hunt. Please put donations in large Easter box by southwest entrance by April 9th. They have enough plastic eggs. Thanks for your donations!
PALM SUNDAY: Next Sunday during the late service there will be a palm procession. All children Preschool through 5th grade are asked to meet in the fellowship hall following Sunday school to receive their palm and line up for the procession. The children will sit with their parents afterwards.
HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE GRADUATES please get your bio information to the church office no later than April 20 to be included in the May newsletter.
MITE BOX SUNDAY is Sunday. Please bring your mites for LWML mission projects.

ECC/YOUTH GARAGE SALE – April 21-22 – Clean out your closets and help these groups with their fundraiser!! They will take all your unwanted appliances, furniture, Knick Knacks, Kitchen Ware, Electronics, Toys, Baby items & anything else You may want to give! CONNECT NIGHT is 6:00-8:00 on April 1 with childcare available at 5:45 at the church. Location: White Lion Pub (6927 S Canton Ave.). RSVP to Teri King tak72@cox.net or signup at church by March 29.
CTR-U CRAFT CLASS: The final CTR-U craft class of this season will be two patriotic wall hangings. It will be a two-week class on April 19 and 26 at 5:30. It will be limited to 10 people post-confirmation age and older. The cost will be $5.00. Check out the narthex for the signup sheet.
EVANGELISM PROJECT: Mark your calendar for April 19th at 5:30! Evangelism is partnering with Tulsa Youth Works who empowers elementary school children and teens in North Tulsa to serve their community, become physically fit, improve reading skills, and develop into the leaders God made them to be! Come hear about the program and eat delicious pizza prepared by the kids from Youth Works! They will be taking orders for more fresh pizza that you can bake at home. These pizzas will be delivered the next Wednesday, April 26th at 5:30.
LWML will be volunteering at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma on April 11 from 9-12:00. They will be carpooling from CTR at 8:15. Please contact Sharon Schmidt or Jody Zscheck if you are interested in helping or in the carpool. LWML SPRING FLING is April 22 at Grace Lutheran from 9-1:00. Registration of $10 is due by April 15. BROOMBALL: Sunday, April 9 6:30-7:30 PM. Join the other Tulsa Area LCMS Youth Groups for an EPIC broomball battle! All jr high and high school youth are invited to attend. $10 a person. Invite a friend too! Please RSVP to DCE Suzanne by April 5th.
EASTER BREAKFAST: Celebrate the Resurrection with us on Easter Sunday! The CTR Youth and their families invite you to an Easter Sunday breakfast from 9 AM-10:30 AM. Where: Fellowship Hall. All donations will help support the youth attending the 2017 Summer Servant Trip to Colorado and the 2019 National Youth Gathering in Minneapolis.
EASTER FAMILY EVENT: At The Great Surprise, kids and their families will experience hands-on fun with a variety of surprising activities. Through these WOW experiences, everyone discovers the amazing surprise that Jesus is alive! Easter Sunday, April 16, 9:30-10:30 Join us for The Great Surprise in the Gym followed by the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Everyone is welcome! If you would like to volunteer to assist with either event, please contact Teri King.
YOUTH BRANSON TRIP: On June 2-4 we will be taking a weekend trip to Branson and visit Silver Dollar City theme park. This event is open to youth who have completed 6th-12th grades in May 2017. Transportation, hotel, meals, and admission to the park are all included! Yes, friends are invited too! Leave from CTR on Friday around 5:00 PM (or earlier if possible) Return to CTR on Sunday around 5:00 PM. We are booked to stay at the Cliffs Resort Condos we stayed in 2 years ago adjacent to Silver Dollar City. Sign up Mar 15-May 1 Cost is $100.
